hydra values the efforts of all Retailers who offer the sale of our products in store and online. In order to preserve our reputation for providing customers with high-value products and maintain our competitiveness in the digital space, hydra requires adherence to this minimum advertised pricing policy (MAP) for all internet sales with respect to all our brands.
 

This policy applies to any distributor or reseller in the United States and Canada.

• Internet Sales Distributors agree to comply with all hydra’s current published prices, policies, product images, and brand standards, including the terms and conditions posted on our websites. It is the sole responsibility of the internet retailer to stay up to date on product changes, and prices online.

• Drop shipping is prohibited. Freight is the responsibility of purchaser F.O.B. Lexington, KY.

• Products must be listed for sale at the Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) on Amazon.com and all other online platforms. Adherence to MAP ensures consistency and fairness across all sales channels.

hydra grants the retailer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use of all trademarks, photos, descriptions, marketing copy and other specifically-approved materials.

C O N S E Q U E N C E S   O F   V I O L A T I O N

hydra will provide any Retailer who is in violation of this MAP policy with a five-day notice to correct the violation. Retailers in violation who do not correct the violation will be blocked from purchasing hydra products. Failure to abide by the terms of this policy may result in termination of dealership or distributorship.

 

M I N I M U M   A D V E R T I S E D   P R I C I N G   ( M A P )

Published retail prices for hydra products can be no less than 80% of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP).

A discount up to 50% of the suggested list price lasting no longer than 30 days and applying to no more than five (5) hydra product styles at any one time may be applied for the sole purpose of liquidating discontinued, overstock, customer-returned, or damaged items.  

This pricing policy applies to all advertisements of hydra products in any and all media, including, but not limited to, flyers, posters, coupons, mailers, inserts, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, email solicitation, internet including social media, and public signage.

This policy applies to only advertised prices and does not apply to the price at which hydra products are actually sold or offered for sale to an individual consumer within a retailer’s location. Retailers remain free to sell products at any prices they choose under these circumstances. Additionally, this policy does not apply to any in-store advertising that is displayed only in the store and not distributed to any customer(s) or on the internet.
